What are the reasons the Doctor won't let the baby breastfeed.  I guess I'm 
not clear on what MgSo4 and Pitocin have to do with Breastfeeding.  These 
meds are usually given during and right after labor.  Magnesium will not harm 
the baby, only in utero) and Pitocin is just a synthetic form of 
oxytocin..absolutely no harm.  Im puzzled.  Is there more to the picture than 
this.  How long do "they" say not to breastfeed?   You can get plenty of 
literature about both meds....
