I just read the post after Jacqui's update...
I whole heartedly agree! We are women, and we can multitask with the best of them, but as new moms, we need to rest and take care of ourselves. You do not have to be SUPERWOMAN!
Don't be afraid to ask for help--and if someone offers it-- TAKE IT! I tried to be superwoman and do it all, and I only have three beautiful blessings! I can only imagine what your day is like. Get lots of rest, take the time to sit down, if nursing the baby is your excuse to rest a little, then use it. Your children need you, and if you get run down and sick because you are doing too much, then it will be that much harder. Enlist the help of your eldest. My grandmother had 6 kids, and she told me if she hadn't had the help of my mom-the oldest-she would not have survived (mom was 9 when the youngest was born) Have a blessed day,Merideth M.
