I have a mom of a 3 day old newborn, who took out a capstar (nitempyram)
tablet for her dog - this is a oral flea treatment- and in her sleep deprived
state, she took the tablet. Poison Control told her it " it does not cross the
blood brain barrier" so she should be ok other than stomach cramping , nausia,
diarrhea as possible side effects - now mom wants to know what to do about
breastfeeding. - Nothing in Hale that I can find, nothing in the archives, I am
going to try to reach a vet... Any ideas?
