You can google any number of articles regarding the correlation of peanut
allergies with infants who had been fed soy formula.
Most seem to be based on a study published in the New England Journal of
Medicine:
In 2003 a British study was published, stating that "Intake of soy milk or
soy formula was associated with a 2.6-fold increase in risk of peanut
allergy (95% confidence interval [CI], 1.3 - 5.2)."

According the various internet articles, the Israeli Health Ministry,
Swedish National Food Administration, British Dietetic Association, French
Food Agency have all cautioned against the use of soy products in infants.
(I didn't find the direct advisories from those agencies; just articles
stating that these advisories were issued. Any French, Swedish, Israeli or
British lactnetters out there who can confirm these?)
