Earlier this year I worked with a mother in the hospital and for follow-up.? She was doing great breastfeeding until her mature milk did not come in well.? She had a history of radiation to her back, behind her breast area, for a cancer tumor in her spine.? I did not find any other red flags for milk supply problems.? May I suggest that the nipple trauma of your second client may have been due to poor milk flow/low supply if low supply was the original problem. ?
