Dear all:
I received a hand pump via Fed Ex. This was a major pain in the patootie in Manhattan
because the Fed Ex guy wouldn't deliver the unknown "package" because my signature was
not neat enough. No kidding. You must sign neatly for our Fed Ex guy or he won't leave
the package. Anyway, the disappointment when all the work I went through calling FedEx
did not result in receiving something sent from a friend or relative, but only marketing led
me to leave it in its wrapping in a corner and ignore it.
Recently, an IBCLC in training mentioned that one of the hospitals has been suggesting the
Lansinoh electric pump for women as comparable and cheaper than the major pump
company that sell in Manhattan. Since I have no experience with it and am a biased source
on the brand thanks to the FedEx guy, I'd like to know more about this pump. I never trust
website info from the companies themselves. If anyone has the time or inclination, please
email me privately with any real world experiences you may have had, good, bad or
indifferent.
Best regards, Susan Burger
