While they are asking for evidence, perhaps they should also require evidence of the safety of bottles. We know they are effective. They do get lilquids into babies' stomachs. But it is alleged there are NO studies showing the safety of bottles, or of the safe and unsafe uses of bottles other than not to prop bottled in infants' mouths.
My attempts to search in Google Scholar have been fruitless. Have not tried the Cochrane database. The librarian in my hospital's medical library was not able to find any relevant studies.
