"Is there any knowledge out there on the percentages of SIDS in fully
on-demand breastfed and routinely bedsharing infants? I mean, not counting
feeding and sleeping arrangements of infants who've died the night they
died, but looking at the cohort of ecological breastfed infants who
routinely shared mom's bed (including bed-arrangements, adult related safety
aspects) from birth on and then counting cases of SIDS.
Am I being too optimistic to expect this number to be extremely low?"
I think the number would be extremely small because the population of
interest (ecologically bf co-sleepers) would be teeny tiny.
Cheers
Nina
