Hello Again! Regarding Family Practice Physicians, I feel, for the most
part the same way. They are more wellness oriented it seems, in general.
Of course, I am biased, my husband is a Family Practice Physician. They
also have their own organization, the American Academy of Family Physicians
(AAFP), they are based in Kansas City, MO. I have always personally liked
the notion that one doctor can take care of the vast majority (90+%) of any
family's needs including attending births, managing chronic diseases,
healthcare for infants through the elderly, minor surgery, etc. etc.
