It's listed an L3 and is an antimalarial and though he says no pediatric
concerns he also suggests going to the CDC, as infants less than 11 kg of bfing
mothers should use mefloquine instead ( mefloquine listed as an
L 2). Atovaquone is listed as a combination drug with proguanil and goes
under trade name of Malarone.

Does anyone have info on the safety of this med while breastfeeding? There
is nothing on Tom Hale's site and I cannot find my copy of his book--although
