Lately I have assisted quite a few WIC participants who needed to supplement 
breastfeeding with pumping. I will ask them to call WIC as soon as I assess the 
situation so that WIC counselors will have more time to prepare. I would like to 
avoid asking for a pump from WIC immediately, on the day of discharge. I 
thought I was being helpful. I really appreciate having pumps available for 
those who need them. If I could chose what to fund with my tax dollars, this 
would be high on the list. Judy
