 There used to be a sacred time called lying in, when mom was waited on and
 had time to get to know her baby and establish her milk supply, let her 
body
 heal.  Nowdays it is not unusal to  see mom at the mall when baby is a few
 days old!  This lying in time was good for mom and good for baby, gave mom
 time to heal and baby time to build up some immunity.  I'm sorry, I'm old
 fashioned (see what getting old does to you :-)  I still believe in the
