A friend of mine was just at a parenting & baby expo sponsored by
this company:
http://www.babyinnovations.com.au/

which markets an artificial baby milk mixing and dispensing machine
styled as an espresso machine. The marketing is entirely WHO-
violating, and the testimonials completely inappropriate, including a
childcare worker talking about how she loves the idea and plans to
buy one when she and her fiance have a baby, and another "customer"
claiming she has purchased one for her pregnant sister.

The marketing at the parent site, babywell.com, opens with "It
doesn't matter whether you Breast or Formula feed." and includes "The
Babywell Milk Expresso is here to prepare the formula milk for breast
feeding mothers to consume", and even "Breast feeding mothers can use
the machine to dispense formula for their own consumption with the
purpose of enhancing the quality of their breast milk.".

The South African marketing page expands on this: "Even breast
feeding mothers can use the Milk Expresso to not only prepare milk,
but also consume formula milk that will assist in improving the
quality of breast milk. It also sterilizes breast pumps!"

It is being marketed in China with these phrases: "A must for all new
parents!" and "Every new parents is a potential customer."

Does anyone know who this company is affiliated with, if anyone? They
appear to be based in Singapore.

Thanks

Lara Hopkins
