No she didn't pump regularly at all post weaning - just once in a while and
only to comfort because she got full and it hurt. He'd pump off 2 oz or so
once or twice a week, then it dropped down to a couple times a month (if I
remember correctly). The issue still remains that her Docs blew her off.it
is one thing to be able to express drops post weaning - but to get so full
that you need to pump?? That ain't right!
I agree she needs something. But - how do you get the Drs to understand
that? I am at a loss. I just talked to a mom whose nurse practitioner told
her that thrush is no big deal it will go away on its own WITHOUT treatment!
Needless to say she told the NP that she was WRONG especially since this mom
had been dealing with it for 6 wks. Then one Ped told her to use the liquid
nystatin on her breasts as well as in the baby's mouth.sigh.even mom thought
there was something off with that info.
I just don't get it.
