Has anyone considered that maybe for this particular baby, he is ready for
some solids? I am by no means advocating the early initiation of foods
other than breastmilk, but if he is ready, it would seem to me that maybe
that's what this particular baby might need.
If this were the case and his hunger was satisfied, he might nurse better
at more feeds.
Every baby is different and each has different needs. What is the baby's
pediatrician recommending: certainly not holding the baby down and forcing
milk into him with a syringe! That's terrible!
It doesn't sounds as if anyone is following this baby's lead.
