Yes, we got the bili blanket at home for my younger son. The pediatrician's
office arranged everything. I just wish home care would have sent a nurse out
to do heelsticks because I kept having to drive him to the local hospital for
a recheck. His bili wasn't dangerously high so he could come off the bili
blanket for that. I was able to set up the machine near our bed and could get
him out of his cosleeper and nurse him without taking him off the bili blanket.
I did unknowingly overdress him, however. He could be dressed in a wrap
around t shirt and gown over the bili blanket. Since that was what I usually put
him to bed in I didn't think anything of it until he kept waking up crying to
nurse every hour.
