ILCA, our professional organization, a separate body from the iBLCE,
has just passed a change to the bylaws, making it necessary to hold
the IBCLC credential in order to be a voting member. So, as a
consequence, those who choose not to renew their IBCLC credential
will now no longer be able to be voting members of their professional
organization. This adds another dimension for those who are
troubled by the whole situation with IBLCE.

However, If one chooses not to renew their credential, then is ILCA their
professional organization?
And if it is not, since they are no longer credentialed, would they care
that they could not vote?
