Another terrible article with inaccurate information and inexpert
'experts'.

"The decision to breastfeed has gone from a private choice to a
hot-button issue. It’s the subject of federal advertising campaigns and
the nightly news. Some media reports claim that a formula-only feeding
strategy could jeopardize your baby’s health. But, according to
experts, saying ‘no’ to nursing might not be so bad after all…"
…
"Chicago pediatrician Dr. Bill Barrows says bad information and advice
are culprits, too. He gives his patients simple rules to overcome
setbacks. For example, limit feedings to 20 minutes or less, with equal
time on each breast. Feed at 2-hour intervals, from the beginning of
one session to the beginning of the next."
…
"A new mother needs to keep herself healthy enough to care for her
infant in the way that’s best for both of them. For some women, that
means little or no breastfeeding. (Remember, stress shows up in the
body hormonally and neurochemically and gets passed along to the baby
via breast milk.) For others, full-time breastfeeding works well."
