Needing the name of an experienced physician. I have a client whose baby has
a posterior tongue tie. We are in the Atlanta, GA area. She would be willing
to travel a short distance. The one ENT who clips most of what I send him
won't do posterior tongue ties in his office. This one he's diagnosed as a
type 4. He feels they have to be done in hospital under anesthetic due to
the possibility of excessive bleeding. Moms don't want to put their babies
under anesthesia. He also tells mothers that the frenotomy won't guarantee
better breastfeeding so probably isn't necessary. Thanks for any
suggestions.
