Hello everyone,
Can someone help me? I need a quick reference in the latest edition of Hale.
(I have 2004 edition) Mother of 9-month old, exclusively breast fed, will not
take a bottle. Mother has been admitted with numerous nodules on her lungs.
Still ruling out lung cancer, but is most likely "Valley Fever," a nasty
airborne bug contracted here in the dust of desert.
DR has RX'd Levaquin and ordered no breastfeeding. 2004 Hale shows Levaquin
as an
L-3 and in kinetically identical to Ofloxacin L-2.
Can anyone tell me if the research has changed in the latest edition of Hale?
Thank you for a quick response.
I have a call in to the doctor, hoping to advocate for the mom.
