well, I hate to sound like a broken record...
but I would still try a heating pad on "low" on nipple(s) after feedings for
20 minutes, even if mom cannot see color change. I have had moms who have
their after feeding breast pain go away with the heat in the absence of
color change.
Now I have not heard someone have the symptoms down the arm. How about
cabbage under the arms if the tail really does seem large?
