Hi, I am wondering about US insurance coverage for frenulum clipping. Many
companies are not paying for male newborn circumcision now, does this same
attitude go for frenulum clipping also? Does anyone have a physician who will
clip in the newborn nursery? Is this paid for by insurance? Is it generally
covered after discharge? Is it only those who can afford it, after much
breastfeeding trouble, who seek it? Why do we have to wait for all that, for
something that can be quickly fixed? (Except for reluctance to change, one
obvious answer.) Thank you, Judy
