I was born in 1969 and my mom was told her milk was too watery and not
enough. (This is from my baby book.) So then I was started on Similac
which I tolerated well. Then, I was given orange juice at 6 weeks, and
a whole slew of solids at 2 1/2 months... many veggies and rice cereal,
I didn't like egg yolk at 4 months (wow!) so she was going to try it
later. I wouldn't eat meat unless mixed with veg, which is no surprise
because I am still not big on meat.
THEN, there were several notes that I was always constipated (NO
SURPRISE THERE!!) so I she put malt supex in my bottles at night. I am
completely shocked that my digestive system works quite well now, but I
did have lots of fillings in my teeth pretty steadily til I turned about
21.
I wonder what kinds of changes will be made when I'm a grandma and my
kids are reading over their baby books. I can only hope their kids will
be nursed!!
