Is the International Breast Milk Project a Scam?

  _____

I'm really glad that this question is being openly asked. I have followed
this situation closely for several years, and to the best of my
understanding what is posted on this blog is correct. It only begins to
scratch the surface of all the questions and issues raised by the launch of
Prolacta, and these "partner" organizations - National Milk Bank, and now
the International Milk Bank Project.

I strongly encourage anyone considering donating to or supporting these
organizations to do their homework so they know exactly what they are
supporting.

Is The International Breast Milk Project a Scam?

Man do I hate asking questions like that. I mean who wants to be the jerk
that questions the intentions of a group that aims to provide breast milk to
AIDS orphans in a third world country?

I've been sitting on this post for awhile now trying to decide if I should
publish it, or simply keep responding to the emails that I receive almost
weekly from moms looking to donate to this organization.

(see link above for full blog entry)
