Apparently Dr. Phil talks about wet nursing today on his show. It is just a
portion of his show.

"Dr. Phil's team of four medical professionals answers all your tough
questions. The doctors weigh in on controversial medical headlines."

http://www.drphil.com/

One mom who watched the show says:

"This just was on minutes ago here... He has a panel of doctors discussing
"hot topics" - and they just talked about wet nursing, about how moms will
let others in their social circle nurse their baby. Dr. Phil was obviously
disgusted by this idea, as was the audience...

A female doctor said it was dangerous and I believe even said that formula
would be a better option because you don't know what diseases another woman
might have.

Dr. Phil said that if his mom let other women breastfeed him, it would creep
him out because he would wonder about his mom's friends if they were "One of
them" who nursed him."
