Hi Jaye
Go. You are not endorsing them by being there and I don't see how you can
avoid being in venues with companies like this in the USA. (Others will
disagree, I am sure).  Let the organisers know that you are not happy about
being at an event alongside similac.  Tell them that you are conerned with
the health of mothers and babies and you are concerned that mothers should
make informed choices about infant feeding.  Explain that product avertising
is designed to be persuasive; to minimise its disadvantages.  Show them the
International Code. Ask them to consider becoming Code compliant next year,
for the sake of mothers and babies' health.
