I have a mom I've been working with (she used to live here) and I have
permission to post. She has no insurance, and won't for a bit. She is
19 years old, with a 13 month old baby, still nursing quite a bit. Mom
started her cycle four months ago, and should have begin her 4th period
early in the 2nd week of January. She ovulated (known by fertile mucus,
height/condition of cervix, and ovulation pain) on December 30th, and
there was sexual activity enough around that time period for pregnancy
to have occurred. She has very sore nipples, as well. However, three
home pregnancy tests, and one at Planned Parenthood test have been
negative. She has not had a blood test, as Planned Parenthood does not
offer them. She is wondering what else might be going on, or if there
was someone close to her, a midwife or if someone knew of a clinic where
she could get a blood test and see a practitioner? Any ideas?
