According to pdrhealth.com, their recommended guidelines for vitamin A are:
"Females 11 yrs. and older 4,000 IU
Breastfeeding women an extra 2,000 IU per day"
Also stated "In pregnant woman, regular doses of 25,000 to 50,000 IU or more
per day may cause birth defects."
Some of the foods listed on the page are really high in vitamin A, so if the
mom adds the amount of vitamin A from the foods she eats, to the 15,000 a
day in the 3 doses of "Airborne", and the Mom would be consuming way over
the recommended 6,000 IU

Another interesting note, one mother (online) said she would not use
Airborne, because it contains sucralose (or Splenda), and that she would use
EmergenC instead. I have no idea what the amount or ingredients in
EmergenC, besides vit C, of course.
