I googled GEIPE so I now know just a little about it. It sounds like the mother may have a fairly common plug
behind a bleb. I am not sure if the GEIPE treatment would cause it, but perhaps the pressure on a duct from
the tumor itself? Also the treatment is done for several hours at a time, I believe, so maybe mother is not able to
express that side frequently enough? I would advise that she perhaps have the bleb opened by her doctor
and she may need antibiotics, and it goes without saying, this needs to be followed by her doctor very carefully,
in light of her situation. It could be an abscess also.

I would also like to say that when a breast appears to be in some sort of abnormal state, like
persistant engorgement, peau d'orange skin, and signs and symptoms of mastitis or abscess - I would not
necessarily recommend doing RPS, lymphatic drainage, or referring for these without first really thinking this
through and consulting with the primary provider. I am not sure whether these interventions would help or hinder
the abnormal situation. Engorgement associated with the first 3-6 days of lactation is pretty predictable and is not
what I am referring to.
