Subject: Donor milk BILL

Anyone have a idea who would help out parents of triplets (in CA) who wer=
e=20
hit with $10,000 bill for donor milk? Their insurance won't cover the exp=
ense.
Nancy, any thoughts?

Why would it be charged to the patient? Our hospital pays for ALL patient feedings. We have gotten direction from Medicare that any nutritional products for patients cannot be charged. It is part of "room & board" at a hospital. I would have the parents fight this one. The hospital needs to cover this!
