We even take a step further than two nurses verifying the milk.  At our 
hospital we use a "bridge" system.  An electronic scanner that is usually used 
to scan the patient ID bracelet and medicine ordered to assure right med, 
right patient, right dose etc.  We place a bar coded label on each breastmilk 
container and scan it as well to asssure the right baby gets the right milk.
