Of course you are right, Mimi. There are good and bad in every profession,
in terms of information, technique, etc. We should evaluate others
individually, and give everyone the benefit of the doubt at the
outset...before passing judgment. It is easy to pass judgment when one
feels less than accepted, or if one is not confident within themselves. This
is when judgment occurs, in my experience. It's easiest to make yourself
feel better by putting someone else down when one is feeling unsteady, and
it happens so often, I notice, under these circumstances. Not an ok thing
to do, but so often done.
