Quillin and Glenn (Quillan SI, Glenn LL. 2004. Interaction between
feeding method and co-sleeping on maternal-newborn sleep. J Obstet
Gynecol Neonatal Nurs 33(5):580-8.) found that at 4 wks. of age,
breastfeeding, co-sleeping mothers slept more overall than
breastfeeding mothers who were not co-sleeping, and more than bottle-
feeding mothers. (Maternal sleep of bottle-feeding mothers was not
affected by sleep arrangement).
