Mary... quite frankly, I think you are concentrating your efforts at the place they can do the most good.  Changes will only happen when consumers demand them, IMO and IME.  Just as I believe improvements in the birth climate have to come from the demands of educated consumers, I believe pediatricians and neonatologists will only come around to the inferiority of formula feeding when their patients' parents are educated and insist upon it.
   
  Then again... maybe I agree with your focus because it's the same one I've chosen.  ;-)
