Dear Friends:
Lisa has a mother suffering this condition.
According to Lawrence, there is no way to predict how much trauma will
permanently injure a pituitary gland. Every woman is different.
I worked with a woman that needed 2 transfusions after a postpartum
hemorrhage on day 10. Her milk supply disappeared for 3 weeks, then recovered
fully. This mother used a SNS at breast, and pumped when she could.
warmly,
Nikki Lee RN, MS, Mother of 2, IBCLC, CCE, CIMI
