One of my clients has a 12 month old daughter who is breastfeeding, she
had been exclusively breastfed until 6 mos, then solids (but not cereal)
and recently had a severe reaction to oats. The allergist said that it
is extremely rare, however, sure enough she is highly allergic to oats.
Her reaction is so severe that they told mom she would likely have an
anaphylactic reaction in the future. Finding information on this
particular allergy has been a challenge. Does anyone work with or know
of any information specific to this allergy?

Thank you for any information or direction.
