So long as your class presentation was evidence-based, do not be alarmed 
that so many of your students' reviews scolded you for "bias."  Hold your 
head high!

I don't know the term sociologists and psychologists use to describe the 
phenomenon, but many people must first deny or reject a notion (as being too 
different from their experience or teaching) before they can start to get 
their heads around it.   Rest assured: your nuggets of truth will be 
remembered as much as the formula recall tidbits.
