Mom gave me permission to post.

Baby is 9 mo. and has breastfed great until 2 weeks ago when he cut
two teeth and started refusing the breast. I gave her all the
standard recs. when we first talked on Day 3 of the strike. Mom is an
NNP I work with and is works 24 hr. shifts. I told her to just hang
out with the baby with her breast "available" but don't push him if
he is pushing away. On day 5 he breastfed twice then started refusing
again and hasn't breastfed again. He'll drink breastmilk from a
bottle. She bathes with him and says he has "come close" in the bath,
but that's all. He screams and pushes away if she tries to put him to
breast or even if she tries to sit in the rocker where they often
breastfed. He will cuddle in bed. He drops off to sleep to quickly to
try the drowsy nursing thing. She says she is sure she isn't pg. She
is really sad because she wanted to nurse for 2 years.

Any suggestions?
