[hmmm, interesting effort that raises fund and awareness for breastfeeding & breast cancer.]

Kitty's breast foot forward

http://www.burnleycitizen.co.uk/news/newsheadlines/display.var.972807.0.kittys_breast_foot_forward.php

A COMMUNITY group is urging mums to breastfeed to reduce the risk that they will develop cancer.

And Burnley-based Milk! boosted its campaign by persuading the town's MP Kitty Ussher to take part in a special fundraising walk.

Mrs Ussher joined members of the group for the event around Towneley Park which helped raise money for a new cancer scanner for Burnley General Hospital.

<snip>

"The link between a reduction in the instances of breast cancer and breastfeeding is becoming more clear and I was extremely proud to be apart of this walk which will help raise funds to promote and support breastfeeding."

Half of the money raised will go towards the running of the group and the rest towards the purchase of a new ultrasound scanner for Burnley General Hospital.
