We do well to remember that, in spite of the marketing hype, there is no
real evidence that any manufactured hand-feeding device requires a sucking
action that bears any relation to normal suckling. Breasts are breast,
teats are hard plastic approximations of nipples that can be useful for
delivering milk to an infant who will otherwise starve.
