Jan, I read what you wrote:  "I'm not sure breastfeeding can withstand all
the assaults.  Not to mention lactation consultants.  And normal birthing
proponents.  

I'm old.  Maybe retirement?"  My reaction was:  Been there and felt the same
way BUT we can't give up (and I think you wouldn't).

We need to stay in this field and work for what is right, what we believe
in; otherwise, those who don't believe in breastfeeding (or natural
childbirth) will have won.
