Mine is purely a personal opinion and observation.  I do not give this from
a professional standpoint.  My sister-in-law has had 4 children.  She
breastfed all of them exclusively until they were 1 year of age.  They
showed no interest in solids prior to this time.  As they were healthy
children, she had her pediatrician's blessing on this.  They range in age
now from 2-10 and all continue to be very healthy.
