I saw "tastings" here in Canada this summer. In fact, I took a picture of
the display booth that was inside our large supermarket, (which almost got
my camera confiscated, and me thrown out of the store! Who knew you
coulnd't take pictures in a store??? ;-))
(I have the picture if anyone wants it)
I talked to the woman manning the booth, she was employed by a market
research company, not the formula manufacturer directly, and didn't seem to
have any specific "spiel" that she had to tell people. She told me she was
just supposed to write down people's comments. Although that didn't seem to
stop her from adding her own personal thoughts and experience of when and
why someone would use this product. (including using it for ill adults like
those meal replacement drinks like Boost, Ensure etc). This was an older
women with grandchildren, a housewife I presume, making a bit of extra money
handing out samples at the store.
