Asfar as the "do no harm" idea goes, I like to remind the pediatricians (the
ones with the "infinite LACK of knowledge") that doing no harm means doing no
harm to the mother as well. When they undermine breastfeeding (in one of the
million ways they do this), they are, indeed, doing harm to Mom's emotional
state.
As was also said, those who have never birthed or breastfed need to bow to
those who have. I deal with two such peds in my little group. I juts keep
taking that deep breath......
