In the Greater Kansas City, Mo. area, couples are also receiving free=20
formula at their homes. SO not just the ads. it is usually a case.

Hi
That's not entirely a negative. What a wonderful opportunity that presents!
When whole cases of the stuff are provided at no cost, surely that fact can
be used as an educational tool to set parents (and colleagues) thinking
about how much (even at production cost) that "gift" would add up to if
given to 100 mothers, or 1,00 households, and so on - and to think *who* is
really paying for this "generosity". It won't take rocket science for
parents to deduce that it is .. ta-da! - the purchaser once the gift cans of
artificial baby milk run out. Parents may be surprised when they estimate
how much extra will the purchaser be paying, per can, when buying it at full
price, and what that adds up to over 12 months.
What a great poster that would make for ante-natal classes, conferences, and
parent/baby expos! Perhaps I'm a Pollyanna, but I like to think, when things
look deplorable, whether there is a positive that can come out of it.
