Dear All:
I have a colleague that shall remain totally anonymous because she violated the IBCLE
scope of practice in a big way. She is perky with a smile on her face at all times.
She happened to be in the hospital with a friend whose baby had a fairly severe tongue tie
and when the neontologist said that they weren't clipped anymore, she directly contradicted
him saying, "Actually, that's not true." (and I know the type of smile she had on her face
when she did it because I've seent it). By the time she was done discussing tongue ties
with the first neonatologist, he said he needed to learn more and another had scheduled the
clipping.
Sometimes the expressions on our face can make a huge difference!
Best, Susan
