I too see what I think is way too many tt babies lately. I hear all the
symptoms - then look at the Mom, then I cringe when I look in the mouth and
check the suck of the baby. I keep praying that I am wrong - but I refer them
and I am right. Most times Moms do feel a difference right away when nursing.
Sometimes not - I often wonder why. Then I had a Mom that had pain for over
five weeks or more and finally had the frenotomy then gave up nursing the
next day and said to me "Well I nursed him longer then the first - 6 weeks is
better then 3 weeks." Her older son has a very noticeable speech impediment,
so maybe this guy will do better in that area. There are other issues there I
know that.
Can't believe the confernce was over a week ago - planning for next year
already!!!
