The infamous mom with the endless plugged ducts, blebs, and frustration who
went to a surgeon who did not treat, finally saw an acupuncturist who worked
the miracle and at last she is freely spraying milk! However, she still is on
Diflucan, and after two weeks, still has some symptoms as does baby who is
also on Diflucan. I encouraged her to ask doc to extend prescription. She
has now not put the baby to breast because she feels her nipples are less
infected than the baby's mouth and she does not want to re-infect. She threw out
all of her stored breastmilk, but is now pumping and feeding EBM by bottle,
"hoping" that in a week's time, this two month old baby will return to
breast, unharmed. This does not sound like a good plan to me, but she is pretty
adamant about it as she is returning to work soon and wants her thrush GONE
before then. Your thoughts? Thanks Ann Still Not Believing that in fact, I do
not have to study today! Could it really be?
