As an RN (in the hospital) it is required that we have certain  
educational reviews over a 3 year cycle.  In discussion today we were  
presented with the challenge of developing a set of core competencies  
for our lactation department.  The reason this came up was  
because...within our department the LC's (just 2 of us) review all  
the RN staff core competencies that the maternity staff does even  
though we do not function on the staff RN level.   We may still have  
to review hospital wide RN reviews but, that could be evaluated as well.

Anyways, does anyone have such a thing developed?  Can we share?
