I have no direct experience with the thyroid issue (relating to this
mother's issue with supply). However, if she is telling you that she feels
better when her levels are in the "high normal range", then it is up to
HER to go back to her HCP and discuss this with him/her. That is not the
job of the LC, other than to maybe suggest that this particular client
reconnect with the doc prescribing the Synthroid. This is where the idea
of self-respopnsibility comes in. You give her some information and it is
up to her to do what she will with this.
